Sierra Arrived in Knoxville, Tennessee!
They have ALL Arrived! All missionaries arrived
safe and sound, although a little tired. They are excited, as are we,
to be here in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission! They are at the mission
home having dinner together and having personal
interviews with President Griffin tonight. Tomorrow they will start at
9:00 a.m. with Orientation and then they will meet their new Trainers.
From there they go right into Transfer/Testimony Meeting. Then, off
they go to their new area and will be teaching
by Wednesday night! Below is a picture of all our new missionaries on the deck of our mission office.
As
I was shopping at Wal-mart, I received a phone call from my Stake
President and he asked if I was sitting down and that I might want to
be. My first thought was that my mission application was denied. He then
continued to inform me that Salt lake city had reassigned me to some
place other than Sao Paulo Brazil. Can you guess where?! KNOXVILLE
TENNESSEE! I get to leave in TWO WEEKS on the 21st! Five days before my
21st birthday! SO STOKED!!! Alrighty Knoxville, TN...HERE I COME!!!
(Brazil wardrobe to cold weather wardrobe. haha) I'm so ready!!!! I will
be serving for the remainder of my mission = 14 months!
